What happens to the recordings that are no longer needed?

The recordings are saved on our secure cloud server for a period of 30 days after which the recordings are automatically deleted. Within this period, the recordings can be downloaded and accessed at all times.

Taking a deeper dive in data encryption, TransLinguist Interactive provides a marketplace for you to connect with our certified pool of interpreters who are bound by strict Non-Disclosure Agreements. The streamlined interpretation process ensures that all information shared by you is strictly accessible only to the assigned resources to your request.

TransLinguist Interactive generates a unique meeting ID for each meeting along with different access links for the moderator to assign “user roles” to their attendees. TransLinguist Interactive’s call interface allows the moderator the ability to divide the attendees into the following roles:

  1. Speaker: This user is automatically added to the panel that will be presenting the meeting and has access to all the features granted within the purchased subscription.
  2. Participants: This user does not have the ability to present by default. However if they wish to speak, they have the ability to raise their hand and take over the floor.
  3. Viewers: This user only has the ability to stream the session in their preferred language and communicate via chat. This user access is ideal for note-takers and assistants who are not likely to present during the session.

Since each meeting has a unique access link, the meeting is not accessible by the public. In addition, the moderator (host) will need to confirm the invitation of the attendees to join the session without which, even with an access link, attendees cannot join.
All the Requester Admins and Interpreters are mandated by strict Non-Disclosure Agreements with TransLinguist Interactive to ensure there are no data leaks or disputes over confidentiality. In addition, data is stored and hosted on secure cloud servers including AWS and Digital Ocean that are in compliance with rigorous data protection measures, 99.99% uptime SLA and strict cloud firewalls.

TransLinguist Interactive takes extra measures to ensure cyber security measures are set in place for disaster recovery by implementing different technological measures to protect TransLinguist Interactive from cybercriminals. These measures range from 24/7 network support, backup data centers, audit logs and vulnerability scans.

TransLinguist ensures strict data encryption through a secure cloud infrastructure, firewall security, encryption at rest and in transit, SSL/TLS encryption, TURN/UDP connectivity, AES-256-GCM authenticated encryption, password encryption along with WebRTC enables security features.
Is using TransLinguist Interactive too complex?

TransLinguist Interactive has a user-friendly interface that is easy to navigate. In addition, the dedicated Account / Project Manager(s) will guide the client / interpreters through the entire tool during the onboarding process.

Clients / Interpreters will also be provided with user guides that will further assist and ensure a seamless interpretation experience. At any point if the client / interpreter requires additional technical assistance, they may contact us at support@translinguist.com

In order to fully understand TransLinguist Interactive, we strongly recommend the client / interpreters to invest in a one time on-boarding process where the dedicated Account Managers will guide the client / interpreters and complete the knowledge transfer so as to ensure the client / interpreters are fully equipped with all the necessary information to navigate TransLinguist Interactive. However, user guides will be shared with the client / interpreters to act as a helping hand. If further assistance is required, TransLinguist Interactive will cater to the specific requests accordingly. What equipment is required to use TransLinguist Interactive?

For Speakers / Participants / Interpreters: A device (laptop or desktop) with either Chrome or Mozilla Firefox latest version enabled is required. TransLinguist Interactive is compliant with both Windows and MacOS. In addition, a professional headset with a built in microphone and a camera (either in-built or external) will be required.

 

For Viewers: A device (laptop or desktop) with either Chrome or Mozilla Firefox latest version enabled isrequired. TransLinguist Interactive is compliant with both Windows and MacOS. No additional equipment is required and connectivity with either Ethernet or a strong Wi-Fi should suffice.

We strongly recommend ethernet connectivity however, if you are using Wi-Fi, ensure close proximity to the router. While utilising TransLinguist Interactive through Wi-Fi, ensure that the network is not being used for heavy downloading or gaming purposes.

In addition, TransLinguist Interactive ensures strict end-to-end data encryption and compliance with GDPR and other global data protection measures. TransLinguist Interactive is also planning to add additional features to the tool including a Zoom & Teams Plugin, Breakout Rooms, Polls and Hybrid Solution by Q2 2022.

The process of booking an interpreter is an automated process which involves broadcasting the job request to the marketplace, ensuring a streamlined workflow in alignment to the requirements.

Our interpretations are fully human based. However, we offer Artificial Intelligence powered subtitles and closed captioning to further assist the interpretation process and enhance the user experience.

We highly recommend you to book us at least 2 hours prior to your event’s scheduled time. If you reach out to us any later, we will try our best to accommodate you, however, we cannot guarantee the availability.

For booking an event on TransLinguist Interactive, simply click on the Calendar tab and select “Create New”. Complete the Schedule Calls Form as per your requirements and then click “Confirm”. The system will automatically connect you to interpreters matching your requirements through our extensive marketplace.
