To boost airport border security, the client began working on a programme in 2009. The programme, provides a highly secure communication exchange on passenger information between airlines and airport border control agencies. Naturally, given the global nature of air traffic, meant the program needed to be rolled out in airports across the world. The requirement was to translate all the marketing materials including internet promotion campaigns, airline advertisements, ticketing airline magazines provided on board, audio visual and printed instructions given to customers on board, aircraft drawings, crew and cabin
training materials, freight documentation, aircraft logbooks, airworthiness directives, and engineering change orders. All these documents had to be translated from English into ten languages.
